The greatest burden in our life

The greatest burden in our life is none other than our own sin.
The consequences of sin are:

• Bondage
• Separation from God
• Living under the wrath of God
• Eternal death
  

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. John 3: 36

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

We all hope that we do not have to face the consequences of sin. We hope that there is not judgement. Some people cannot accept that fact that there is judgement after dead. They hope that God is forever loving and kind so that they can still indulge in their sin.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2: 24
