Two reasons not to hate others:
- Hatred is like preparing two coffins: one for the enemy, one for myself
- Hatred will hurt the innocent surrounding people.
- It is like releasing a convict from the jail, the convict is me.
- Forgiving others to prevent myself from the endless suffering of mind , body and soul.
- Although we also hurt others, God is willing to forgive us.
31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4: 31-32
- When we experienced the love of God, we are willing to forgive.
- God is fair, and He know how to judge each and everyone of us, when we took the matter into our own hand, we are replacing God.
Romans 12
We cannot forgive others through will power alone. When all else fail, pray.
"When every body in the world adopt the doctrine of "an eye for an eye", everyone will be blind"--- Gandhi
4And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
5Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. Genesis 45
