In every thing give thanks!

Do not take things for granted:
If we can wait up in the morning and see the sun rising, we should be thankful.
If we can walk by our self, we should be thankful.
If we can hear the beautiful song of the birds, we should be thankful.
If you have a spouse and children, you should be thankful.
If you can breathe the air, you should be thankful.
Do not focus on others' short comings, focus on their expertise, then you will not be so harsh on them.
Do not complain that your spouse has such and such short comings; instead you should be thankful, because if not for that short comings, she or he will not marry a man/woman like you.
Do not complain regarding your works, because while you are complaining, there are so many others who are still unemployed.
Do not complain that your car is too slow and your house is too small, because while you are complaining, there are so many others who are without cars or dwelling places.
Do somethings for others as long as you have the ability and as soon as possible; you do not know whether you still have chance tomorrow.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5
10The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

12So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Your Children call your neighbour: father!

How do you feel if your children called your neighbour, father. They thanked them instead of you. They buy gifts for him instead of you.

This is what our father in heaven will feel, if you worship others instead of Him. If He really created you as mentioned in the bible; If He really protected you daily; if He really provided you with your daily ration; if He really created the earth and provided a conducive environment for you to live in.

Yet you worshipped others, you thanked them for protecting you, you danced and sang praises to them during festival instead of Him.

So, take some time to find out who created you. Do not worship the wrong ones. It is a matter of life and death.
Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

Beware of your beliefs !

Most people have the experiences of buying something which is not what they actually wanted.
They will regret, feel unhappy about it for days and sometimes for months depending on the cost of the goods.
Some people believed that they had bought some geniune antiques , but after realising that they had bought the fake goods, they would feel angry, regret and feel down emotionally.
They will spend a lot of time studying and analysing before making future purchase.
Yet, a lot of us, simply believe in something which not only effect our present well being but may also affect us eternally.
How many of us really know what we believe? Or just follow what our ancesters' beliefs. Do we spend some time to study into detail on what we are believing?. Or are we too busy spending time on something not as important?
Another new year is beginning, lets spend some time to find out what is the most important things in our life and spend more time on the more important matters.
